Bevy Game Jam #5 // Play Game! // Itch Submission Page // Music

  • WE GOT 2ND PLACE IN THE JAM (AND TOP 5 IN EVERY CATEGORY)!!!
  • Live, Die, Repeat is a cross between Zelda and Groundhogs Day! Collect keys to unlock your exit. Death is imminent as you’re stuck in a timeloop, but it could be rewarding as your ghosts give you line of sight to see enemies before you enter a room.
  • This game was made in the Bevy engine built in Rust.
  • This was made by 4 people including myself. We all met pretty much at random via the Bevy Discord server, all interested in making a game in Bevy for this jam. They are amazing.

Sleep Cycles // UMBC Dance Music Project #2 // Listen Here

  • A dance student at University of Maryland, Baltimore County asked me to create music for her choreography. This piece is 7 minutes long.
  • The theme involved the 4 sleep cycles: N1, N2, N3, and REM. The music is based on how the body and brain function during these cycles, such as how deep the sleep is, what can occur during those cycles internally, and etc.
  • The piece is officially complete and is called Sweet Promises/Shattered Dreams. The two performances were on May 10th and May 11th, 2024.

Sweet Promises/Shattered Dreams // UMBC Dance Music Project #1 // Listen Here

  • A dance student at University of Maryland, Baltimore County (the same one) asked me to create music for her choreography. This piece is 10 minutes long. The initial thought process was to create a heels” song that is in a 6/8 time signature. I took creative liberty to create a triplet groove in that 6/8 to create a wavey” effect.
  • The piece is officially complete and is called Sweet Promises/Shattered Dreams. The two performances were on May 10th and May 11th, 2024.

OST Composition Jam #7 // Listen Here // Link to Jam

  • This is my very first Composition Jam! We received a picture with a quote attached, pretended that there was a game from it, and create the soundtrack for it.
  • Relive is a 3 minutes long, ambient, and orchestral. My thought process for creating this piece is in the description of the song.
